The KKC Rifle Stock System for the Ruger 10/22

KKC is function, ergonomics and aesthetics all in a single rifle stock. Behind every KKC stock is advanced technology, excellent craftsmanship, passion and enthusiasm. Featuring an adjustable height cheek piece, adjustable in height and length recoil pad, ergonomic pistol grip, broad wedge-shaped forend grip, stippled texture on forend and pistol grip, sling swivel studs, free-floated for .920 bull barrel and 100% drop-in installation.

The KKC rifle stock is made from Rutland Laminated Stratabond plywood which has been the leader in laminated gun stock plywood for 20 years. Their Stratabond plywood provides stength, stability and durability while also allowing the stocks to be made in a variety of different colors.

The Story about KKC Stocks

The KKC Rifle Stock System is the result of Kjetil Kverndokk’s college dissertation project in January 1998, from The Institute of Industrial Design at The Oslo School of Architecture and Design in Norway. The KKC was ranked as the top project of its year and one of the best in the school's history. In 1999, the KKC received honourable mention in The Norwegian Design Council’s Young Talent Competition.

After having received numerous requests to manufacture and market his product, Kverndokk decided to initiate commercial production of his rifle stock. Manufacturing of his rifle stocks began in the Spring of 2003 and two years later, in 2005, the first stocks were ready for delivery.

In the beginning  he sanded, stained and mounted the stocks himself, and thanks to excellent feedback, from highly satisfied customers, sales increased signifigantly.

Today an advanced line of production has been established in the U.S.A. and his rifle stocks are no available for the Ruger 10/22 rifle.
